In January this year, HyGear has shipped an ASME certified HGS-C system to North-America. The system will generate hydrogen to fill hydrogen cylinders in order to provide decentralized users with merchant gas.

The great advantage of the innovative HGS-C system is that it simplifies the logistics significantly, as it produces hydrogen from natural gas on-site. This prevents the necessity to truck centrally produced hydrogen to the cylinder filling station with tube trailers. The HGS-C system has a hydrogen production capacity of over 100 Nm3/h in a hydrogen purity range from 2.5 up to 5.0.
