High-purity gas streams
The Hy.PURE® is ideal when your operations has an available gas stream and the gas stream has certain quality requirements. In addition to hydrogen purification, our purification technology can purify other gasses. Such as nitrogen (N₂) and oxygen (O₂). However the system is not interchangable with these gases. Our system can purify one gas stream to the required quality.

Hydrogen purification
During hydrogen purification the hydrogen containing gas treams are converted to high-purity hydrogen. The technology elimanites impurites and refines industrial-grade hydrogen. The system ensures improved hydrogen quality with a high flexiblity. Our hydrogen purification technology is standard incorporated into our hydrogen production system, the Hy.GEN®.
Purifying gas for the glass production in Belgium
Next to three Hy.GEN® systems, for hydrogen production, HyGear also provided a Hy.PURE® system for nitrogen purification. This system guarantees a continuous supply of high-purity nitrogen (N₂), which, together with hydrogen, is crucial for maintaining a controlled tin bath environment in glass production. As a result, the client benefits from a dependable supply of high-quality hydrogen and nitrogen gases while minimizing transport movements. The solution delivers a strong business case while aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.

Low maintenance
Our gas purification systems is effortlessly integraded into the existing operations. This is due to the prefrabricated and modular build of the sytem. Additionally a compresosor is not necessary when the glas flow enters the system within a range of 6-10 bar. The system is low maintenance and has an up-time of 99,99%, which translates to annually four days of predictive maintenance and inspections. HyGear offers service and maintenance contracts and 24/7 monitoring for all our systems and technologies.
