The Hy.GEN® technology utilizes a Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) process to produce high-purity hydrogen from natural gas or biomethane, offering cost savings compared to conventional delivery methods. A carbon-neutral alternative is the Hy.GEN-E® system, using renewable electricity to power electrolysis for on-site hydrogen production without fossil fuel inputs.

Hydrogen production in the UK
The Hy.GEN® system reduces energy consumption by producing hydrogen on-site, eliminating the need for transportation from remote facilities. BUSE Gases has a service contract as well as a maintenance contract with HyGear. We conduct half year and yearly inspections to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
