Electrolysis: PEM & alkaline

Produce (green) hydrogen on-site with electrolysis technology. We offer both alkaline and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis.

Electrolysis technology

With proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis, the technology converts renewable electricity into hydrogen by splitting water molecules. In our turnkey system we have incorporated, PEM stacks, power supply, an ultrapure water treatment system, and purification technology. The entire process is controlled to maximize efficiency, with the inclusion of our deoxygenation and Temperature Swing Adsorption technologies. Resulting in 5.0 high-purity hydrogen (H2) production.

PEM electrolysis process

The PEM stacks are the core of the electrolyser system, this is where the hydrogen is formed. PEM stacks allow for flexible operation: they can quickly scale up or down and have a wide operating range. Both of which are essential to to effectively managing the fluctuations inherent in renewable energy sources. Through the integrated power supply we convert the AC voltage from the grid to the necessary voltage.
